As adults there are some lessons in life we should already have learned. But just in case you have forgotten or were never taught (gasp!), let me refresh your memory on one of them.
There are just some things that are meant to be done in person or at a minimum on the telephone. It is not appropriate or polite to leave your boss a letter on Friday afternoon that you will not be back to work Monday morning--or ever for that matter. Hmmm, maybe someone who would do that I don't want working for me anyway???
Enough said. Let's move on and get to work (it's gonna be a long day).

- Me...that's a difficult subject for me to discuss. To most people I seem very outgoing but in reality I prefer to stay behind the scenes. I have a great husband and a wonderful teenage daughter. (Wonderful and Teenager in the same sentence--isn't that an oxymoron?) They listen to my rants and raves and sometimes even hear them. We own a pest control company where I am the "office manager" and we homeschool. It's definitely a juggling act. A wonderful friend recently moved away and it still hurts, but there are other fantastic friends and we are commiserating together over the loss. I love to travel and cook. Give me the chance and I am outta here. Some favorite destinations: Lake Tahoe, Walt Disney World, and College Station. (Gig 'Em Aggies!) Where would I like to go?
