Inspirational Quotes

I subscribe to a daily inspirational quote. Some are pretty bland and some are pretty good. Occassionally there are ones that really just strike out to me, you may have noticed them at the top of my blog. Here are a few more that showed up recently. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

"Some of the secret joys of living are not found by rushing from point A to point B, but by inventing some imaginary letters along the way."-- Douglas Pagels, Author

"What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others."-- Pericles

"Don't duck the most difficult problems. That just ensures that the hardest part will be left when you are most tired. Get the big one done; it's downhill from then on."-- Norman Vincent Peale~~~

My recent favorite!

"Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections."-- Author Unknown

Maybe this is my favorite because it spoke directly to me. I am a perfectionist--I have to work really hard to see beyond the imperfections and just look for the joy.

Have a great Sunday!
Betty
